Muretto — Città Alta, Bergamo
Suspended between the Walls, from morning to night.
Muretto is a bistrot and cocktail bar overlooking the Venetian Walls of Bergamo, next to Porta Sant’Agostino. By day it’s a gathering place for breakfast or a quick lunch; as evening falls, it becomes the right spot for an aperitivo or a cocktail, with the lower town lighting up beneath the walls.
A view you won’t forget
Our inner garden, shaded by a tree, and the terrace on the walls open onto a 270° view over the Bergamo plain. The kind of view worth arriving a little early for — ideally right at sunset.
A reference point for visitors too
Muretto is also a tourist InfoPoint for Città Alta: a good address not only for eating and drinking well, but also for advice on what to see along the Walls and around the old town.
